Your generosity powers our mission, so we’re making sure we use your gifts wisely. Here’s a wish-list of items for our shelters, updated monthly so you can see what we need most and where you can make the biggest impact.
The June air smells of campfires, cookouts, and long, summer days! With Father’s Day just around the corner, we cannot wait for another chance to celebrate. Being without a home on holidays can be especially heartbreaking, so this year we are finding new ways to show appreciation for all of the families and Dad’s in our shelters! Join us this Father’s Day, at our Siena House shelter for a cookout. We are looking for volunteers to grill and enjoy the afternoon alongside our Siena House men and Juno House father’s & families.

What else is new this month? PONCHOS! 
Although this may be an unexpected need, rain ponchos are essential for the Spring & Summer months. Many of our guests are without vehicles. They walk or use public transportation to get to work, doctors’ appointments, etc. Rain ponchos help keep our guests dry and healthy!

Paper plates, napkins, plastic utensils
Ketchup, mustard, relish, brown beans
Outdoor furniture in like-new condition
Unused shower curtain liners & outer curtains
Tupperware
Major impact items we need
Unused large freezers (we currently need 4)
Unused refrigerator with freezer (we currently need 2)
Unused dishwasher (we need 2)
Unused garbage disposer (1)
We don’t need any of these items right now
Disinfecting wipes
Clothing
Blankets
Diapers
Kleenex
Toiletries
Furniture
Items we unfortunately cannot ever accept
Mattresses
Used bedding
Car seats
Food that is expired or within 2 weeks of expiring
Items that need to be picked up
