Outside In Program

Outside In Program

The Outside In Program is an innovative new approach to meet the needs of the male homeless population in Waukesha County.  This program further enhances our agency’s mission by providing a warm bed and the necessary support and resources to become reestablished in the community.

We take men from the outside and bring them in.

Outside= living outside on the streets or in the woods, outside of our sight, outside of society, outside of support programs…

In= live in a warm shelter (home) until they move into permanent housing, included in society, involved in solving their problems, an inroad to eliminating Waukesha County homelessness for good…

Eligible individuals for the Outside In Program are males who are experiencing homelessness and may struggle with physical or mental health diagnoses and/or AODA issues.

The Outside in Program provides:

  • Shelter
  • Case Management
  • Assessments and Referrals
  • A Pathway to Success

A Case Manager sets goals, works with, assists, and advocates for eligible individuals through their entire stay and up to 6 months following the completion of the program to ensure success beyond just the immediate housing crisis.

Individuals interested in participating in this program should call 262-549-8732 for a screening and to be placed on the wait-list.
